After spending her childhood near her family's cattle ranch in the deserts of New Mexico, Jess found solace amongst the cold waters of Southern California before spending the last 5 years chasing waves all over the world while working with clients including Vans, Hurley, Roxy, and Volcom, while endeavours on land have included clients such as Apple, Lexus, the World Surf League, and more. As the early days of her career were shaped by the ocean, her visual language focuses on capturing both movement and emotion, similar to the ebs and flows of incoming waves. Having learned how to use a camera while capturing some of the biggest & most dangerous waves in the world, Jess has now planted roots in Los Angeles . Whether through her travels, creative vision, or commercial work, the art of capturing the world through photography has become a daily practice.
